Robin Thicke, Ne-Yo, John Legend, India Arie and many more performed at the 2014 Neighborhood Awards last weekend in Atlanta. The Neighborhood Awards, founded by talk show host Steve Harvey and his business manager Rushion McDonald, honors everyday people in the community and businesses that uplift their neighborhoods. The fan-nominated awards featured 12 categories including best church, beauty salon, barbecue restaurant, community leader, high school, barbershop and church choir. This was the first time that the Neighborhood Awards were held in Atlanta. The event originated in Los Angeles under the name Hoodie Awards in 2001 and spent seven years in Las Vegas.
