Detroit Man Charged in Series of Rapes, Sexual Assaults
The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office has charged a 21-year-old man in connection with two rapes, and multiple sexual assaults. Michael Sykes is charged in a case that occurred in March and another that occurred in 2008, when he was just 14 years old.
Baltimore Mayor: National Guard to Be Deployed, Curfew Ordered
Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake addressed reporters on Monday as rioting protesters took to the streets, looting and burning stores and setting fire to police property. She said that after consultation with Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, the National Guard would be deployed as soon as possible. Mayor Rawlings-Blake also ordered a curfew from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., starting Tuesday.
