The NFL has banned FOX from running a commercial for guns. The one-minute ad for Daniel Defense was submitted for consideration to run during the Super Bowl, but was shot down. The NFL’s advertising policy prohibits commercials about weaponry as well as distilled spirits, fireworks and gambling, to name a few. While many are against the ban, saying the commercial doesn’t say or show guns, some speculate that they submitted the ad knowing it would get banned to generate publicity online.
