Congressional candidate Mike Webb recently posted an embarrassing screengrab to his Facebook timeline. His intention was to highlight some perceived attack by one of his opponents. The NFL has banned FOX from running a commercial for guns. The one-minute ad for Daniel Defense was submitted for consideration to run during the Super Bowl, but was shot down. The NFL’s advertising policy prohibits commercials about weaponry as well as distilled spirits, fireworks and gambling, to name a few. While many are against the ban, saying the commercial doesn’t say or show guns, some speculate that they submitted the ad knowing it would get banned to generate publicity online.
