CNN Reporter Mistakes Phallic Symbols for ISIS Flag at London Gay Pride Parade
While roaming the annual Gay Pride Parade in London, CNN International reporter Lucy Pawle stumbled upon an unidentified man flying what appeared to be the flag of the jihadist Islamic State (ISIS). But it was filled with phallic symbols in a subtle piece of British humor.
Benjamin McNamee, Aaron Golson and Darryl Cearnel faced up to 20 years in prison. Attorneys for all three men on Friday asked Judge Renee Roche in court filings to deviate from imposing a maximum penalty. Roche did so earlier this year when she sentenced hazing ringleader Dante Martin to six and half years in prison. Roche did so because she believed it had been demonstrated that Champion was a "willing participant in the hazing ritual.
